Polar Research Robot

I helped two friends flush out their design for an autonomous robot used to detect crevasses in Polar research. We reduced costs and optimized the design for manufacturability while ensuring it could be shippable in Air Force Containers.

The robot was featured in the pilot of History Channel's UFO's: Unidentified Frozen Objects. I was responsible for wrenching on the robot during the TV shoot in Northern Quebec.
