After becoming a new parent and navigating the daily challenges of pumping, I grew frustrated with how awkward it was to carry around a pump with tangled tubing. I designed, engineered, and manufactured this one-handed tubing holder to make the process simpler, faster, and a little less frustrating.
The Problem
Breast pump tubing gets tangled, caught, and messy during storage and transport. Existing organizers require two hands to use — not practical when you're holding a baby, a coffee, or bottles. Parents needed something that works with one hand and doesn't get in the way of the pump's carry handle.
The Solution
A snap-in clip that mounts to the pump body with adhesive, letting you wrap and secure tubing with one hand. The design keeps the top handle completely open for comfortable carrying and holds tubes securely without kinking or damaging them.

Design & Manufacturing
3D printed in Nylon 12, a material the FDA classifies as Generally Recognized As Safe. I designed the clip geometry to balance retention force with ease of use — firm enough to hold tubing securely during transport, gentle enough to snap in and out without fiddling. The alignment notches register to the pump's case split line for consistent positioning.
