Vehicle concept hero image

Originally hired as a design researcher to gather research and create personas for the market segment, responsibilities quickly expanded. As Lead Design Engineer, I created development schedules across chassis, powertrain, suspension, battery, and styling systems.

I personally designed 95% of the carbon fiber monocoque chassis using Solidworks, managed a ~2,000 part vehicle assembly, and released chassis tooling CAD with parts delivered on schedule 6 months later.

Quality & Process

Implemented industry-standard practices including SAE standards, NHTSA regulations, dFMEA documentation, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards. Proper documentation and GD&T is the tooth brushing of engineering: it may not be enjoyable now, but it pays off over time.
